The other lived from 1894 to 1978. He was American...

They painted similar scenes...

Life at home...Portrayals of American or Swedish everyday lives...

Both were criticized...They were called secondary painters...

Carl Larsson meets Norman Rockwell

But I do like them both, their paintings speak to me, i know well Scandinavia...I visited Carl Larsson 's house in Sundborn and loved it...I wish I could do the same for Norman Rockwell...

I find something similar between some paintings by both artists...Life is there, so vivid...the colours like photography...
